About Us

Quality Dental Education at Universitas Islam Riau.

The establishment of the Faculty of Dentistry is a strategic response by Universitas Islam Riau (UIR) to address the shortage of dental professionals in Riau and Sumatra.

Projections indicate that the dentist-to-population ratio in Riau was only 9 dentists per 100,000 people in 2023, well below the national ideal standard of 13 dentists per 100,000 people.
